Two Tai Yai men have died after the motorcycle they were traveling on ran into a tree in Mae Hia, Mueang Chiang Mai early this morning, May 24.
The accident occurred on a road in Ban Don Pin, Moo 5 Mae Hia at around 12:30 a.m.
The two deceased were named as Mr. Lo Lung Kham, 38 and Mr. Lo Lung Kham, 38, the latter from Thung Khao Phuang in Chiang Dao.
There were no witnesses to the accident but it’s believed the pair were traveling at high speed on the motorcycle when they failed to negotiate a bend in the road causing them to run into a tree.
The bodies were transported to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for an autopsy prior to being handed over to relatives for funeral rites.
