Two people are dead after the truck they were in rolled down a hill in Mae Chaem yesterday, April 26.
The accident happened on the “Hua Hang” curve on Mae Chaem-Hod Road in Kong Khaek at around 4:45 p.m.
According to reports, the 18-wheel truck was transporting a backhoe to Hot District along the road when it lost control on a curve, ending up crashing off the road and down a hill at the side.
The deceased were not named but are believed to have been husband and wife.
The road is said to have a bad reputation for these sorts of accidents including the curve where the accident occurred believed by locals to be haunted by Thai ghosts.
