The bodies of two people who had been murdered were found in trash bags in Mae Taeng yesterday, May 25.
The bodies were discovered by a neighbor in a longan grove in Moo 6 Sop Poeng.
The deceased included Mrs. Kamonthip Sopprasit, 40, described in Thai language reports as an “attractive widow” and Mr. Charoen Manee, 50. Both bodies had multiple stab wounds.
It’s believed that the murderer was a suitor for Mrs. Sopprasit and that the motive was jealousy after she decided to date Mr. Manee instead.
Police do have a suspect which they’re currently searching for with Thairath reporting that they expect to make an arrest today.
