Two people from Chiang Mai have died following a motorcycle accident in Phuket this morning, Sept. 26.
The people, identified as Mipha Tabe-er, 36 and Wan Tapiaw, 42 were traveling along Chalermprakiat Ror 9 Road in Tambon Rassada, Mueang Phuket when they hit a light pole at approximately 5.45 a.m.
According to The Thaiger, emergency responders and police arrived at the scene to find the two already dead.
While police suspect that there were no suspicious circumstances they are said to be checking CCTV to see what occurred leading up to the accident.
