Two men have been seriously injured after an air compressor exploded in San Pa Tong this morning, June 11.
The explosion occurred near the Thung Siao Market on Chiang Mai – Hod Road (Highway 108) in Ban Klang at around 10 a.m.
The two men, as yet unnamed, are described as seriously injured. One is said to have burns across the front of his body while the second man is said to have suffered burns to his thigh.
Both men were rushed to San Pa Tong District Hospital.
The cause of the explosion is not currently known but it is known that the two men were working on the air compressor, as part of an air conditioning unit at the time of the explosion.
