A 29-year-old woman has tested positive for COVID-19 in Chiang Mai. Officials said she works as a hostess in a Karaoke bar in Santitham and may have visited several shopping malls in the city.
Mr Charoenrit Sanguansat, the governor of Chiang Mai, has called a meeting and a press conference is planned for later today.
There will be an official announcement later which will include details of at-risk areas in Chiang Mai including shopping malls, shops, karaoke bars and other at-risk areas that the woman has visited recently.
The public is reminded to follow COVID-19 prevention measures including mask-wearing, social distancing and regular hand washing.
