A 21-year-old woman has died after driving her car into the back of a water truck through the never ending roadworks in Doi Saket yesterday, March 1.
The accident happened on Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai Road (Highway 118) near the 45 kilometer market in Pang Fan, Moo 5 Pa Miang at around 3:45 p.m.
The deceased, Miss Noon Rueangchaidech from San Phak Wan, Hang Dong was driving a silver Honda City inbound when she came around a bend in the road and slammed into the water truck.
How she ran into the truck is not clear but reports note that she was driving in tandem with other vehicles at the time.
The location of the accident is the same spot that a tour bus carrying Malaysian tourists crashed in 2015 killing 16 people.
