A woman was stabbed to death by her former boyfriend in Mae Jo this morning, April 27.
The murder occurred at a dormitory building on Soi Wat Thung at around 10:30 a.m.
According to reports, the deceased, named only as Ms. Vilasinee, had been in a relationship with Mr. Chakrabong Puanjairak – known as Kimmy, 24 for around 7-8 months but they argued regularly with relatives saying he was abusive.
Ms. Vilsasinee had recently left the accused with Mr. Puanjairak turning up to where she was staying this morning demanding that she return to him.
A further argument occurred with “Kimmy” subsequently stabbing Ms. Vilsasinee to death five times with an 11-centimeter long knife.
Witness saw the accused both before and after the murder and heard the deceased screaming. CCTV footage confirmed he was at the scene and departed on a MSX motorcycle.
As of 3 p.m. Saturday police were looking for Mr. Puanjairak with some reports suggesting that he was planning to hand himself in.
