A 20-year-old man has been rescued after his hand was trapped and crushed in a factory in Pa Tan this morning, Feb. 25.
The accident occurred at an unnamed ice cream factory at around 10:30 a.m.
Rescuers on the scene found Mr. Maung (surname unknown) with his hand stuck in the machine used to crush coconuts. It took around 10 minutes for his hand to be removed from the machine with the victim taken to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital.
According to Thai language reports, the victim was feeding coconuts into the machine when an “error occurred” that resulted in him placing his hand into the machine, becoming stuck in the process.
The victim was conscious through the ideal. His current status was not reported.
