Worker injured by flying knife at Saraphi restaurant

A Tai Yai restaurant worker has been treated after he was hit by a flying knife in Saraphi yesterday, May 28.

Mr. Salalngng Hia, 31 was working in the kitchen of an unnamed restaurant when the handle of a knife being used by a coworker broke causing the blade to “bounce” into Mr. Hia’s arm.

He is described by Thai language reports as having wounds near his elbow and lower forearm.

He was treated at the scene by Aung Phueng Rescue before being transported to Rajavej Hospital in Wat Ket for further treatment.
