Lucky amulet thanked for saving lives in Lampang car crash

A lucky amulet is being credited with saving the lives of two people in a car that crashed on a notorious section of Highway 11 yesterday (July 25) in Lampang.

The crash involved a Lampang-registered Mazda 2 losing control on the mountainous section of the highway in Hang Chat between Lampang and Lamphun, crashing at a section of the highway Sanook described as the Corner of 100 Corpses.

The driver of the car, Mr. Chatch, 30, who along with a three-year-old child in the car only suffered minor injured with Mr. Chatch crediting his possession of a lucky amulet for their survival.

The lucky amulet is described as 1980 Luang Phor Kasem Khompo with an image of Luang Kasem Khemko that had been purchased and blessed at Wat Kao Chiang Mai in Lampang.
