Motorcyclist dies on infamous Chiang Dao road curve

A motorcyclist has died after losing control on an allegedly infamous road curve in Chiang Dao last night, March 5.

The accident occurred near the turnoff to Cave House in Tambon Chiang Dao, Amphoe Chiang Dao at around 8:45 p.m.

The deceased, Mr. Jesada Kantawong, 27, lost control of the corner and was flung off the motorcycle, dying on impact.

A spokesperson for a local emergency rescue group, Mr. Kamon Inthaphon, told Thai language media that people need to be careful on the corner as there have been many accidents at the location in the past.
