Three women injured after pickup truck ends up in Lampang Khlong

Three women have been injured after the pickup truck they were traveling in ended up on its side in a Lampang Khlong (canal) this morning, Nov. 20.

The accident occurred near a bridge on Phaholyothin Road (Highway 1) between the 602-603 kilometer markers in Mae Wa, Thoen District.

The three people injured were named as Mrs. Inna Luechai Chaiyaphum, 46, Mrs. Yuen Phothisavee 64 and Mrs. Kan Nopa Chunsom 50 all from Kamphaengphet.

According to the driver, Mrs. Chaiyaphum, she was driving friends home after visiting Phayao when the accident occurred, without giving any specific details.

According to reports, police believe that Mrs. Chaiyaphum may have been under the influence of yaba at the time and were planning on properly drug test her after she was taken to hospital.
